The Heiress Fights Back: They Called Her a Fake

Ava Carter versus three Langston brothers and their father over stolen identity and hospital corruption.

Ava Carter steps off a plane after lecturing in São Paulo, only to be ambushed by Pierce, Derek, and Ethan Langston under orders from her father Edward to pick a husband. Derek shatters her mother's pocket watch, stomps her right hand, and beats Professor Charles unconscious when he intervenes. The brothers choke Ava, snap her injured hand again, and drag the humiliation into the hospital, refusing to believe she is the Carter Group heiress even after her assistant Arthur displays the family power ring. With evidence from Charles, Ava exposes the Langstons' profiteering from the hospital. At a banquet she reveals her identity publicly, but the brothers deny it until Edward arrives and confirms her status, forcing them to their knees. Ava then details their crimes, leading to the arrest of all three brothers. Their father Marcus attacks her in rage and is taken into custody for attempted murder.
